Intermediate Wheel Classes
Do you have some wheel experience or have you taken our beginning class? If so, we invite you to participate in our intermediate classes!
Intermediate classes are round-table style with a focus on what each individual student is most interested in learning. We’ll work with you to take your skills to the next level, whether that be on a specific project you have in mind, general guidance or fun exercises and challenges to help improve your throwing. So bring your thoughts, questions and ideas and let’s make some pottery! This fall we'll be offering a few specific intermediate demos/projects on select Sundays!
How does an Intermediate Class punchcard it work?
Our Intermediate punchcards are good for three or six 2-hour sessions. Classes are held on Sundays from 3-5pm. Each 2 hour session you attend is one punch on your card. You can use your card for consecutive weeks or choose any 3 or 6 Sundays within 3 months from when you purchased your card!
Is glazing offered as part of the class?
Our intermediate wheel classes focus on wetwork and trimming. If you’re interested in more advanced glazing instruction, check out our upcoming glazing workshops (more info coming soon!).
What if I have bisqueware left over after my class ends?
Included in the class price is 1-2 hrs of studio time for glazing which can be used within the same 3 month period outside of class time. Alternatively, you can purchase a studio punchcard or membership for additional glazing time.
Add an optional tool kit here! We have (limited) shared tools at the studio for our classes but recommend purchasing your own if you plan to continue making work!
