Summer ClayCamp
Ages 8 to 12 • 8:30 to 11:30am
Join us for five mornings of fun from Monday through Friday! And this year we are offering one 3-day camp option (Mon-Wed). See below for details on what to expect and for session information.
Each day will feature a new fun project or two, with a focus on learning a variety of building techniques. We will take a short break in the middle of each session for a brief walk and a snack (included). NOTE: After the camp is completed, participants may need to return at their convenience for glazing a piece or two that took a bit longer to dry or to be fired in our kilns.
Monday - hand-building techniques, pinch pots, foliage plates
Tuesday - coil-formed vessels, animal sculptures, clock faces (resulting in a working clock!)
Wednesday - fun time on the potter’s wheels, and also hand-building mugs
Thursday - mask making, and glazing or completing any unfinished projects
Friday - polymer clay, air dry clay
Tickets must be purchased in advance!
*Projects listed above are subject to change.
